The problem in poverty today around the world is NOT that the people are lazy. The problem is that these people do not have access to capital like we do here in America. Because these hard working people do not have the access that they need for materials, they are forced to work for others who pay them pennies on the dollar for their hard work. Through micro-credit loans these people can have the same access that we have in the states. This access to capital can help these people rise out of poverty and start providing their families three meals a day.
